Thank you so much Fandago for hosting this challenge! It’s my first try… I hope you like it π
Nest
A little nest on a tree so tall,
My home, my world,
My courage, my territory,
My fear to fall,
My family, my bed,
My kitchen, my shed,
My place, my stage,
My trap, my cage,
How long will I stay confined here?
How long will I survive
Alone,
Forlorn
Abandoned from the world by a wall,
Here, in a little nest in a tree so tall.
Wonderful poem. I think you nailed it.
