Hurt

Exams are still going on, but Tatsuya had an emotional outburst. Too hard to be swallowed. Too bitter to be told aloud. That’s why a poem outlet.


Hurt


A deep shaking down my heart,
Like quakes, soft tremors,
Going hard,
Shattering hearts with
Knives of broken trust—-
Like pieces of glass.
Awful rumours,
Swallowed hard,
False believes, false myths,
Dreams rust—
In this awful cage of reality.


I am hurt—
Like a wounded bird,
Can’t sing, can’t dream, can’t tell.
Hopes fell,
Trust fell,
All gone down, down the life’s well.
It hurts
When people you care turn back,
Stare you cold looks
Throw in their black books—
Just because of an unknown mistake.
Can’t take,
Pleading help from myself to recover
A cold feeling nobody cares,
A forbidding feeling that never lets me dare
To go out and seek the world.

He wanted to ask, what did you do when someone you really care turned back?
And I apologise to anyone whose feelings I’ve hurt for my delayed responses. Everything is going so muddled for me…

P.S. Would you please tell me, do I sound too “fake”? Do I seem too emotional?

  6. Sophie, you don’t sound too emotional at all! And you know rumors are just rumors. They should never get a hold of us and define who we really are. Some people start rumors because they are unhappy with themselves and are jealous when others are doing better than they. I agree with the others love yourself and don’t worry about what other people think about you. You know the truth about yourself. you are worthy! You are beautiful! You are smart.       4. Thanks a lot, dearest Renee! You are right, we just have to stay away from the negative forces in our life.
        But to be honest, the one about the email one, didn’t have any bad intention, just a bit hurtful. Maybe there was my fault as well, so I don’t really blame that person.
        Anyway, being hurt makes you stronger and every event in our life are just a lesson. Maybe some are harder than others.

  7. Not too emotional at all! To not express yourself to the extent of your emotions is being just as untrue. Express it all without holding back. Those that would say those things are not being authentic to themselves! Be Strong! Be the Dragon!😉😀🌞

  9. Well something really similar happened actually 8 years back
    She was my best friend and meant a lot to me
    But turned out I dint mean a lot
    And she ignored me for days even when I kept apologising… I realised she was seeking attention
    That’s when I decided IL never let her over power me ever again
    So we are still friends but I just don’t keep her on pedestal any more!
    Hope this helps in any way
    And tatsuya is strong enough to come out of it 🙌🏽

        Also always remember the ones who truely love you will always ask for the reason behind you doing whatever you did and try to understand where u come from… just have a pure heart and you will come across similar pure hearted people for sure ☃️

      Well I was a bit sad, and hurt, and to stop my tears or anyone knowing my feelings, I poured out everything in the poem.
