Scar as a human

As I promised yesterday, I have painted Scar (the main antagonist from the Lion King) as an anime character. I spent a lot of time today thinking about him and his past life. He does remind me of Mhokaizi Yoshitsune, a prince from the famous Cygnetian empire of Mhokaizi.

Well, without further ado, let me present you to the one and only…

    1. Thank you so much! I loved drawing him a lot and when I even got a little chance to “talk” to him as I was doing it.

      1. I was actually really fond of Scar’s son Kovu from the second movie! He spends all his life being raised to do evil and avenge Scar, and then no matter how hard he tries to do good he keeps doing everything wrong. No one wants to give him the chance, but he always tries to do what he thinks is best for both sides of his family anyway.

      3. Oh, there was! It’s not as well-animated as the first, but I still liked how it redeemed Scar’s followers. It was called “Simba’s Pride,” I think.
        (There was also another movie in between that was more an extension of the first, focused on side characters. That one’s officially called “Lion King 1 1/2,” humorously enough.)
