The Questions…

Have you ever enjoyed school?

Well, I quite like the school a bit. I am 14 years old, and going there currently, so I can view all the lights and dark of school life. I really like my teachers, the study, the library but these gossips, and bullies are certainly annoying.

What’s your life motto?

Be the change you want.

What kind of fear have you overcome?

Well, the fear of expressing myself. As a little girl, I was afraid to be different and tried to follow the waves. But since the age of 12, I decided I can express anything I want, even if I have to hear much scorn, in my little quiet way.

Ever experience to drown?

Not yet…

When you heart and mind is in conflict, which one wins?

My heart, always, except exams.

What kind of blog post you like to read?

Any post written with love. Poems and “about me” and award posts are my favourite though, and also those describing culture and travelogues and tickets to magical worlds.

If you were an animal, what kind are you?

Dragons 🙂

Do you like spicy food?

Oh no! 😮

Age doesn’t matter to love. Agree or not? Why?

Age doesn’t matter to love, I agree. Does a toddler not love his parents? 🙂

Your definition of true love?

Felt through heart, and withstanding all storms.

My Nominees:

Steve, who certainly is a very special person in our blogging world.

Karleyyalday, a special lady who is so kind and lovely.

Saba Niaz Siddiqui, a special person with an amazing heart.

My Questions:

  1. What does “peace” mean to you?
  2. How many languages do you know?
  3. What do you think is the best thing about keeping pets?
  4. What is your favourite dessert?
  5. Rainforests or barren lands?
  6. What is your favourite way to celebrate a victory?
  7. Any childhood treasure?
  8. Do you like nature?
  9. What is your favourite flower or tree?
  10. What is your favourite book?

Thank you again, Jessica, and everyone reading it! May you have a great day ahead! 🙂

I will Stay : Guest Post by Mellissa

This poem is written by my sister, who’s real name is certainly not Mellissa 🙂 She chose this as a false name and also likes to call herself “Princess”. It was actually meant as a song, but looks good as a poem too!

I Will Stay

Today’s morning,
Today’s night,
My mind goes to a place,
I Will Stay
Full of fire burning eyes
We need to win this,
We need to play,
Until and unless our match ends…
I will stay!
I will try my best,
To win this time,
I’ll try to work hard,
‘Cause if I don’t,
my heart and mind won’t get rest.
Back in my memories
Back in my dreams,
I dreamt to win the match
But a dream is only dream.
You cheated with us,
You made our tears flow,
Now it’s time for revenge,
Get ready for our return blow!
Back in the day when alone I sat,
The others had broken hearts,
Back in the sadness,
Back in the pain and sorrow…
If I can loose yesterday,
I can win tomorrow.
Winning is not everything
Playing is all,
If you can defeat us
We can make you fall.

About the poet:

Mellissa or Princess or Suzume or Sparrow is my younger sister. Currently 11 years old, she loves sports, singing, and anything fun! Is great with origami and also starting a novel of her own called Unexpected.

A little bit about the poem:

She wrote this yesterday, for a lame leg competition (a game played in one leg) held in school. Unfortunately, she and the team came second and it was clear she was down in the downs for not coming first. I’ve tried my level best to cheer her up but well… She doesn’t understand it well. Now, now, isn’t games about participation and not always winning? Thank you so much reading!

FOWC with Fandago- Nest

Thank you so much Fandago for hosting this challenge! It’s my first try… I hope you like it 🙂

Nest

A little nest on a tree so tall,

My home, my world,

My courage, my territory,

My fear to fall,

My family, my bed,

My kitchen, my shed,

My place, my stage,

My trap, my cage,

How long will I stay confined here?

How long will I survive

Alone,

Forlorn

Abandoned from the world by a wall,

Here, in a little nest in a tree so tall.

A Letter To Wolf Boy

Dear Wolf Boy,

May this letter finds you in good health and spirit. I apologise for being so late and I really aimed to write this one long, long ago.

I can’t say how much I admire you and what a great treasure you have given me. I don’t find enough words to fill in my gratitude. And perhaps, words can never express the vastness of my feelings as well.

I am no great poet as you are, but still I try my best to pen my admiration for you in a poem.

The Wolf Boy

Breaking through dark cages,

And dark phases

Of dark times,

Standing out of the pack,

Showering sunshine

And warmth around the worlds.

Your courage has no boundary,

Your inner strength has no border,

You have stood up again,

You have looked broader

All around the worlds.

Master, you are, at controlling words,

Entangling hundreds of emotions

Expressing our thoughts,

Consciousness, awareness, and compassion

You have brought,

To hundreds of people all around the worlds.

Here, at the light of a dying day,

I stand upon a hill,

Bathing in radiance of new hope,

You have gifted.

Indebted,

Now and forever still.

May you live long, Wolf Boy,

May all your deeds shower

All your courage and radiance may destroy

All the darkness in your world!

Warm Regards,

Dragon Warrior

Where was I?

I don’t know if anyone missed me or not, but it is true, I was far, far away from WordPress these days. 😦

You see, our house has shifted and in our new home, the Internet connection is very poor. And then there are these exams (till now, I have got full marks in all the results shown, so I am very happy! 😀)

I am quite upset to be so far away from a place I love so much…

Sending much love and warm regards to you!

I will come back as soon as I can! (Possibly back to normal by next Saturday 😃)

“Beware…” a loud voice bellowed from the sky, “You have entered the Woods of Wonder. You have stepped in great danger and your fate will be decided by you alone.”

Chap 1: A Voice From The Sky

It was an ordinary cloudy day when you and your friend decided to go for a walk in the nearby woods. (1)
“What’s the name of this place?” you ask your friend. (2 and 3)
“Don’t know, your name. This place is sort of mysterious… Creepy and eerie you can say.” He/she replies with a cheesy grin, “Are you scared?” (4)
You don’t reply but walk on, crippling twigs beneath your foot and admiring the odd shapes and structures of the trees.
“Hey, your friends’ name, this forest is quite interesting, isn’t it? Just look at the purple pebbles… And the scarlet weeds… Aren’t they odd? What do you think? Your friends’ name? Where are you?” you call out suddenly… to realise he/she is not there beside you. (5)
By now, you had come quite deep inside the woods and the sky looked it would rain soon.
You desperately call your friends’ name but it was like he/she had completely disappeared.
“Beware…” a loud voice bellowed from the sky, “You have entered the Woods of Wonder. You have stepped in great danger and your fate will be decided by you alone.”
You gaze at the sky. There was a hole in the clouds, peeping sunlight. Your friend was still not here and the wind was turning hostile… Maybe a storm was near.

Questions for You:

  1. What is your name?
  2. What is your friends’ name and gender?
  3. Would you like your friend to join in your journey?
  4. Were you scared?
  5. What will you do now?
  6. What is in your backpack?
  7. How are you feeling?
