For Outosego…

Dear Outosego,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirit. In my blogging journey so far, you have been one of my greatest comrade and I look a lot upon you! I always love being at your place, filled with pleasant surprises… You are a very great inspiration to me too, and I admire you a lot! Your words always fill me with pleasure and happiness 🙂 Thank you so much for supporting me. 🙂 Would you please say which of the following drawings better suit you?

And this is the female counterpart… 🙂

Thank you so much for being such a good friend!

Yours warmly,

Dragon Warrior

A Curse That Became a Blessing

Thank you so much, Rochelle, for this challenge of Friday Fictioneers

PHOTO FROM ROGER BULTOT

A curse that became a blessing

Millenniums ago, I had been cursed to become a statue. And now I think, it’s a blessing.

They had taken parts of my hands, they had forever closed my eyes.

It’s a blessing, I say again. At least I don’t have to see my mother Earth dying. At least I don’t have to see some of my brothers die out of hunger and others feasting on fries. At least, I don’t have to see the pain and disgraceful state of the world which, once was such a gracious place.

A Whole World of Notebooks: Bullet Journal

As an introvert and dreamer and living with hundred and one imaginary friends, notebooks and journals fill a great part in my life! ❤

So welcome, my dear mates, to my world of notebooks… Let’s tour around part by part 🙂

My Bullet Journal

Bullet journals are a great way for planning and organising our day-to-day lives… All you need is a notebook, some pens, a bit of imagination and 5 minutes’ time (If you use more, that’s great too!)

I had started my bullet journal quite recently and before that my daily journal was everything I had and confided to… 🙂

This week, I had Eloise, an imaginary friend, with me to help me organise and plan for the coming week. I know, many of you may be wondering, I guess… how on earth can a week start with a Friday (19th July) and end with 28th (Sunday) June?!

Well, the answer lies to the fact, I don’t live in Earth! I live in a faraway magical world called Cygnet where there’s 9 days in a week. So there’s a mismatch with Earth’s calendea, you see 🙂

Have a great weekend ahead!

Friendly Friday: Abandoned

Thank you so much Amanda, Something to Ponder About, for introducing such a brilliant challenge! You have also inspired me to write a small poem… 🙂

Abandoned:

Left behind,

By my shady gang,

In a rotting piece of wood;

Here I grow, in crinkly and lined

Musty place, here I hang,

Alone and abandoned in this piece of wood.

Songs Tinkling In My Heart

Nowadays, songs are lighting up my moods and filling my heart with different shades of emotions. Here are a few songs which are my current favourites…

Utaite Songs:

For those who don’t know, utaite are singers who post songs in a Japanese video-sharing platform called Nico Nico Douga. I absolutely love them, especially Shamuon, who had unfortunately left… Here are my top 5 songs:

5. 小夜子 (Sayoko, which is a girl’s name meaning Evening Child) by Shamuon

4. いかないで (Ikanaide, meaning “Don’t Go”) by Eve + いかないで (Ikanaide, meaning “Don’t Go”) by Sou

3. アイネクライネ (Eine Kleine, unfortunately, I don’t know the meaning) by Kenshi Yonezu, aka Hachi

2. Mrs.Pumpkinの滑稽な夢 (Mrs. Pumpkin no Kokkei na Yume, meaning Mrs Pumpkin’s comical dream) by Luz x Nqrse x Soraru x Mafumafu

1.恋 (Koi meaning Love) by Soraru x Mafumafu

English Songs

Alan Walker is certainly one of my favourites and I can’t have enough of Disney songs too!

5. Friends by Marshmallow and Anne Marie

4.Faded by Alan Walker

3.On My Way by Alan Walker, Sabrina Carpenter, Farruko

2.How far I’ll go by Auli’i Cravalho

1.Let it Go by Indina Metzel

Have a great weekend ahead!

The Storm Inside

Another downpour by Masaki, speaking up my heart.

The Storm Inside

Masaki, a rough sketch. A fake smile to avoid questions like “Are you okay?”
Copyright: Dragon Warrior

O Storm, you have wreaked my life,

Shattered my heart like pieces of glass,

Ruined the gardens of memories I had made

Snatched everything I had— and alas,

Everything I loved is gone too.

Now I am behind the bars;

Behind the cage of emotions, trapped,

O Storm, you have hidden all the stars

Of love I had.

Mad,

I am going to be mad.

Insane. Disdained. Forgotten.

O Storm, you have left me nothing,

But on I walk for miles and miles…

With a strapped heart and a fake smile.

Addiction

One of Masaki’s (an imaginary friend) poems is sticking to my heart and echoing just the words I want to speak. For him, it’s dedicated to smoking, but for me, it’s for blogs. I can’t just leave blogging even if exams are knocking at the door! 😦 It’s making me feel guilty and sad but I don’t know what can I do… I am trapped! 😦

Addiction

Don’t know how it began,

Don’t know why it’s so strong,

Don’t know, why for me, it’s right,

Even if I know the wrongs;

Don’t know what spell it casted,

Don’t know why I am in trance,

Don’t know how long my last one lasted,

Don’t know how to steal a glance;

Don’t know how to focus,

Don’t know how to leave,

Don’t know how to get back

In my back life and heave

A sigh of relief.

Don’t know how to break free,

Don’t know if I can dare,

Don’t know when it would be over,

And I could return back to my lair.

King Of Pirates: Crimson’s Creative Challenge

Thank you, Crispina for such an amazing contest!

King of Pirates

By Gou aka George

I will ride on hundred waves,

I will fathom hundred sea miles,

I will uncover hundred graves

Of sailors, lyin’

Here and there about the treasure island.

My rudder is my wizard’s wand,

My cutlass, the magician’s ring—

Beware, traveller, I am the pirate king!

About Gou:

A student at day and pirate by night. No, he is no king of pirates, but a very poor young man compelled to steal for a living. Loves adventure, treasures, keys and the first mate of the ship: Naoki (aka Neil)

Revisiting my old drawings

Exams still on trail, but re-drawing my old pictures for refreshment. Even I am surprised how horrible my art used to be! 🙂 At least, I am improving a bit ^ ^

Sojiro Kenji. Drawn in 2016. Goodness, doesn’t it look shaggy and blunt?

Now, here comes what I drew today morning:

Sojiro Kenji. Drawn in 2019. Doesn’t he appear a different person? 🙂

Have a great day ahead! 🙂 ❤

A few doodles and drawings

I hope everyone is having a good day yet ^ ^ I just wanted to share a few drawings that I’ve been recently quite obsessed with 🙂

She’s Kasumi! Always cheerful and smiling.
Sorry, it’s hazy and not quite clear… Copyright: Dragon Warrior
She is Wahatou Yoai. The most inspiring woman in Cygnet ever. The painting and the poem actually belongs to Mahokiji Yoshitsune, her husband. But he can’t come in Earth like I can so I would keep the copyrights to myself. Currently she’s 15, and going through dark days so I hope she gets well soon
Her name is Ellie. Actually a rabbit but can transform into human when she wishes 🙂

Have a great week and month ahead! Goodbye 🙂
